Our Debut at Foggy Bottom
Thanks to all our fans who drove out to Dexter to support our debut at the Foggy Bottom Coffee Shop. We were pleasantly surprised to see so many of you out there with us. We are looking into a possible date back there in September. We, of course, will keep you posted. Check back here for further details!
Rachel and Jenni wowed the crowd “between sets” again with their rendition of the Damien Rice song “I Remember.” We hope to see more of the girls in the future as well as possible shows of their own!
New “Unplugged” Show at Brew Waters
The band has booked another date at Brew Waters in South Lyon. We will be appearing Friday, July 15 from 8-11pm. This show will be slightly different in that we will be short a band member or two. We are preparing a special “unplugged” style show for all of you. We hope this will be a chance for you to see the band in a way that you haven’t yet. See you all there!
New Demos Posted… and About the Shirts…
Seven Bridges is pleased to make two new demo mp3’s available to our fans. “Never Wanted You To Cry” and “Kiss This World Goodbye” are two of the four songs that will be on our first CD release. These are “pre-studio demos” recorded this spring. We will continue to make these available until the finished product is ready this fall. Keep checking back as we plan to post two additional mp3’s soon. Thanks!
Jenni asked about shirts. We are looking into getting a “first run” of Seven Bridges shirts made up. We will keep you posted on the progress. Thanks for asking!
We Were Rockin’!
Brew Waters went out of their way (as usual) to make us feel welcome. Good time was surely had by all. Our fans are the best. It is always a special treat to be able to look out and see you all enjoying the music and singing along with us. Al (our official first fan) even joined us up front for a song! Looked like we even had a few “newbies” there tonight. As far as Seven Bridges goes, we’re going to try to keep doing a coffee house date or two per month while we’re putting together our first cd. We hope you are able to be with us for our first appearance at the Foggy Bottom Coffee House in Dexter in three weeks! Until then…
I’m sure the “newbies” in the crowd were impressed with our “between sets” entertainment. Rachel and Jenni did another great job with their covers of Janis Joplin’s “Me and Bobby McGhee” as well as “Gravedigger” by Dave Matthews. The girls were offered the chance to come back and play their own music at Brew Waters in the future. Great job girls!
