November Show

October 25, 2007 at 9:18 pm (Arlington Station) (, , )

Hello again,

Big news, finally. I’ll be playing at the Baseline Folk Society open mic night on Saturday, November 10th. I tried to list it as a show in my schedule, but it was acting funny, so I’m posting it here as well. I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to play at these open mics, but it always seems to work out. There are some great local musicians/performers at these events. Don’t miss it!

This next part is especially exciting for me. A couple of my old Seven Bridges mates will be joining me for this show. 7B vocalist, Lisa Chambers, will be singing with me on a few of my songs, while Dave Chambers will supply the essence of the bottom (sorry, inside, I know)! I’ll be helping her out with a few tunes as well. Not sure if we’ll be playing as one act or two. But come on out for a great evening of music & fun. I hope to debut my newest song, It’s the Rest of Your Life, at this show.

See you soon,
John

Welcome to Slackerland

Just a quick note to say that I’ve canceled plans to do any shows for the time being. I’ll be out of town in a couple weeks for a wedding and will be working hard on getting the fife & drum presentation ready before that. Things should calm down a bit after the middle of this month. Maybe then I can get back to prepping for a few open mics.

Hope to be out playing soon. I’ve got a few new ones I need to try out.

John
